his riotous parody of popular Broadway shows comes to the Playhouse stage for five performances only - Memorial Day weekend,
May 23 through May 25! New York's longest running musical comedy spoofs show tunes, characters and plots as Broadway’s greatest musical legends meet Broadway's greatest satirist in this hilarious and entertaining tribute to some of the theatre's greatest stars and songwriters.

Fiddler on the RoofMay 28-June 21
Starring Sally Struthers & Eddie Mekka!
Often called Broadway at its best, Fiddler on the Roof transports us to Anatevka, Russia where we meet dairyman Tevye (Mekka), and his wife, Golde (Struthers), and their five daughters, as they try to cope with their harsh existence under Tsarist rule, all the while struggling to maintaining their “Traditions.” Winner of nine Tony® Awards including Best Musical, features the songs “If I Were A Rich Man” and “Matchmaker Matchmaker.” This touching story holds a universal message of community and hope that continues to resonate with audiences, making it one of the most beloved musicals of all time.


Breaking Up Is Hard To Do

The New England premier of the new rock n' roll musical featuring the music of legendary artist Neil Sedaka! With all the upbeat fun of Hairspray, we'll return to the 1960s and Esther's Paradise Resort in the Catskill Mountains. Join us as we relive the trials, tribulations and rewards of teenage life, love and and summer days gone by.  With a score that includes the hit songs "Love Will Keep Us Together," "Stupid Cupid," "Laughter in the Rain," "Calendar Girl," "Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen," and of course the number-one-smash-hit title song, "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do" - audiences will be dancing in the aisles!

 
Mel Brooks' The ProducersJuly 16 - August 9
Don't miss the most Tony-Award Winning musical of all time, The Producers! It's Mel Brook’s hilarious story about producer Max Bialystock and his hapless accountant Leo Bloom, who try to oversell a Broadway flop only to incur complications when the show unexpectedly turns out to be a hit. The Ogunquit Playhouse is thrilled to be one of the first regional theatres in the country to recreate the Broadway production featuring Robin Wagner’s fantastic Tony-Award winning sets and William Ivey Long’s spectacular Tony award winning costumes in this one time only star studded production of The Producers!
 
My Fair LadyAugust 13 - September 6
When stringent linguist, Professor Henry Higgins, bets a colleague he can turn flower vendor Eliza Doolittle from a guttersnipe into a duchess, the stage is set for romance and glitter. Touted by many as the perfect musical, this dazzling production features irresistible songs including “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly,” “I Could Have Danced All Night” and “On the Street Where You Live.” This all-new Playhouse production will feature a multitude of TV stars, fantastic sets and gorgeous eye-popping costumes. Bring the whole family to enjoy this timeless classic.
 

Les MiserablesSeptember 10 - October 12
Winner of eight Tony® Awards, including Best Musical, Les Misérables, based on the novel by Victor Hugo, packs an emotional wallop that has thrilled audiences all over the world.
